About

Matteo Giuliboni is a young craftsman who has always been passionate about music in all its forms and about musical instruments. After obtaining a diploma in electrical engineering, he enrolled at the Civica Scuola di Liuteria di Milano (Milan Civic School of Lutherie) and, after four years of study and hands-on training, earned the qualification of Master Luthier.
Liuteria M&M is a small workshop where the dream of making a living through the work of one’s own hands, with and for music, comes together with the desire to share the knowledge, precision and professionalism acquired over the years, as well as a genuine love for the craft, kindness and a natural willingness to listen.
Matteo has specialized in the construction of Irish bouzoukis, instruments played by musicians all over the world. Every Liuteria M&M instrument is the result of extensive research aimed at optimizing its sound, the use of fine materials, innovative shapes (without overlooking traditional ones), and meticulous attention to every detail of its construction. It is a combination of the ancient and fascinating art of lutherie with modern techniques in acoustic physics and electronics applied to musical instruments, with the aim of finding together with each customer the solution that best suits their needs.
